As a Hardtail lover it took a while and a great bike to make the transition to full suspension. I guess what they say is true, after riding full suspension there is no going back. With all the bikes here at my disposal i chose the sexy Scalpel. This bike was a special early 03 edition or a late 02, it came with Lefty ,XT rear hub and a newer rear lock out in Denim Blue
1: I didn’t see the need for more then 2.75 inches of rear travel (again this is for XC not free ride)
2:front and rear lock outs was a must
3: was fit I am 6.1 feet tall (183cm) and just under 80k (i hope this helps) i demoed the
Large and the Medium bike ...I chose the medium
4: was the EPO technology which keeps my rear end close to the ground and keeps me cutting up tight single track. I plan on building this bike up a bit over time. I love this bike, and every ride is so rewarding. I ride XC but here in the East Coast that´s allot of technical stuff that some might consider freeride, the bike handles this stuff great, but this is not a bike for big hits and Drops

| Some people like Cannondale some don’t, get past all that hype and get a bike that fits you and your riding style. This is an Amazing bike but if you arent a fast rider/racer you don’t need this bike get an NRS,AC you will have more fun with it. This is a purebred this is a bike fore speed |
